The Corning Children's Center presents two premier events each year:

The Blue Moon Ball, held each January, is a high-spirited gala that includes a great array of food and drinks, an always-fabulous live band, dancing, live and silent auctions, and of course lots of good conversation and merriment.

Next year's event is scheduled for January 16, 2010 at the Corning Museum of Glass. We are pleased to announce that The Legendary Dukes will once again be providing their remarkable big band sound for your dancing pleasure! Friend of the Family Celebration, held each October, features an expert and engaging guest speaker, a prestigious award to an individual who has made a real difference in the lives of children in the area, and an informal gathering of friends educators, students, and supporters who visit over light refreshments upstairs at Corning Country Club.

Oh, What a Night!
Blue Moon Ball 2009

Once again, that ol blue moon shone brightly at the Corning Museum of Glass on January 17^th. And once again the supporters of the Children's Center outdid themselves! Robust ticket sales, enthusiastic bidding in the live and silent auctions, fast and furious purchasing of chances for a remarkable piece of jewelry all contributed to the best year ever.

Thanks to all who contributed to securing close to $60,000 in support of our children, staff and families.
