Fundraising Events

The Corning Children's Center presents two premier events each year:

The Blue Moon Ball, held each January, is a high-spirited gala that includes a great array of food and drinks, an always-fabulous live band, dancing, live and silent auctions, and of course lots of good conversation and merriment.

Next year's event is scheduled for January 17 at the Corning Glass Center. To learn more or reserve your table, call or email Jodi Turner at 607-937-5502 ext. 123.

Friend of the Family Celebration, held each October, features an expert and engaging guest speaker, a prestigious award to an individual who has made a real difference in the lives of children in the area, and an informal gathering of friends educators, students, and supporters who visit over light refreshments upstairs at Corning Country Club.

Plan to attend: October 24, 2008. Featured speaker: Mimi Doe, a noted expert on a balanced approach to parenting. Tickets $20 ($10 student) before October 3; $25 ($15 student) Register now
