| As a not-for-profit organization, the Corning Children's Center is governed by a Board of Directors. Members are elected to represent both our sponsor, Corning Incorporated, and the community at large. They are diverse in occupation, ethnicity, gender, age, and experience. Our board is dedicated to ensuring the quality of care/education we provide and the responsible management and sound fiscal practices of our organization. The full board meets ten times per year to review operational data, undertake strategic planning, set policy, and oversee initiatives. The executive committee, which meets monthly, and other standing and ad hoc committees of the board provide substantive help and oversight on matters of importance to the organization.
